Our goal is support communities in need of help especially woman and kids.
At Habteab.org, our mission is to empower refugees and immigrants in the Washington, DC area while extending our support to communities in East Africa and other developing countries. We believe in fostering self-sufficiency, education, and community growth through holistic support and sustainable development initiatives.

Founded in Washington, DC, Habteab.org is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to creating a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Our team is comprised of passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds, unified by a shared vision of helping marginalized communities thrive both locally and globally.

What We Do
Supporting Refugees and Immigrants in DC
We provide essential resources and support to refugees and immigrants settling in the DC area. This includes assistance with housing, employment, education, and legal services. Our goal is to help these individuals and families build new lives with dignity, stability, and hope.
Building a Brighter Future in Developing Countries
Beyond the DC area, Habteab.org is committed to improving lives in East Africa and other developing regions. We work closely with local communities to build community centers, schools, and other vital infrastructure. These projects are designed to empower local populations by providing education, healthcare, and opportunities for economic development.
